Busy
August
We have had a busy
August. We travelled to
Minnesota at the beginning of the month for Brock and Sarah’s
wedding. We all had a great
time getting to see Colin’s side of the family. Almost everyone was at the
wedding! It was a beautiful
ceremony and reception. The
kids loved the chance to get to the Science Museum and see the dinosaurs,
the weather exhibitions and the “Wing King” in the
lobby. We got a chance to
relax a bit at the lake cabin with the Eckmans
and even made it to the zoo on one of the hottest days there! The kids were red in the face, but
had a wonderful time!
Now that the end of
August is upon us, we have been getting ready to send Elizabeth to
kindergarten. It is hard to
believe that she is old enough to be heading off to school. She has already lost her first
tooth and is getting ready to lose another one. She is excited and looking forward
to a wonderful new year at Aquinas. We will be sure to post pictures
of her first day, this Thursday!
